Project Name: Institutional Capacity Building for Sustainable Urban Transport System

Project Narrative

The Person Trip Survey aims to principally acquire comprehensive information of the travel pattern and characteristics of the residents in the Study Area. The survey also shall collect information of socio-economic characteristics of the households and individual household members in the study area.
The interview items include in general:
– Household demographic information;
– Household economic conditions (assets, housing type, household income etc.);
– Individual attributes (social status, income etc.) of each household member aged 6 years old and more;
– Trip (or travel) information of each household member; and
– Additionally, stated preference for new transport service.
