Project Narrative

JICA conducts external ex-post evaluations for all projects with a budget of JPY 1 billion or more, as well as other projects deemed valuable for insight, within two to three years of project completion. The ODA evaluation this time is JICA Ex-post Evaluation Survey of Hospital Project FY2024. The goal is to enhance future projects through a learning loop within the project cycle by incorporating lessons learned from the ex-post evaluation. This also ensures accountability to stakeholders, including Japanese citizens and the people of partner countries.

– Assist the concerned parties, including the Ministry of Health (MOH), Setthathirath Hospital, Champasak Provincial Health Office, Champasak Provincial Hospital, and the University of Health Science

– Collect responses to the questionnaires via email or other relevant communication methods.

– Arrange visits and interview appointments

– Provide the team with support in logistics and security arrangements

– Confirm the arranged visits and interview appointments

– Conduct interviews with the concerned parties

– Interpret from Lao to English
