Project Narrative
The expansion of the Vision for 2030 and the 10-Year Strategic Plan for Water Transport Development (2016–2025) aims to promote waterway transport integrated with multimodal transportation, especially in remote northern highland areas. The goal is to enhance the convenience, efficiency, and modernity of freight and passenger transport, reducing logistical costs.
The objective of this study is to assess the feasibility of developing XiengKok International Port, a logistics zone, industrial zone, trade-service zone, modern agricultural zone, and tourism zone, along with associated industries in Long and Sing Districts, Luang Namtha Province.
